Marilyn Schild

Following a career in education, Marilyn began working in the travel industry.  Since the late 90’s, she  has  created and conducted international and domestic tours.  Her forte lies in designing new itineraries, focusing on people to people  and history, that take the traveler into the homes, schools and communities of other cultures.  Marilyn also  designs and conducts tours highlighting the beauty of the American landscape.  She is a knowledgeable and competent tour director who provides guests with  extra activities beyond  what is expected.

Favorite destination:
The Pacific Northwest into the Rocky Mountains and the Southwest, Costa Rica – any place that meets the ocean or has beautiful mountains.

Most memorable travel moment:
Traveling alone with my late husband via snowmobile in Yellowstone National Park where the two of us stopped to let elk pass and the snowflakes floating gently down were as large as silver dollars.
