Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Honolulu and receive your traditional lei greeting welcoming you to the islands. Your luxury motor coach awaits to take you on a narrated scenic drive past downtown Honolulu into the heart of Waikiki for your 3-night stay.

Day 2
Enjoy a “welcome to the islands” breakfast buffet at Duke’s Canoe Club on world-famous Waikiki Beach. Our local guide takes us sightseeing in Honolulu, which includes Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial Museum and Movie at the Arizona. Visit the Hawaii Plantation Village. Continue on with our city tour to Kawaiahao Church and Mission House, the State Capital, and Washington Place and more!

Day 3
After breakfast, we see Helemano Plantation, Haleiwa Town and then have a special treat of “shave ice” at the Matsumoto General Store. Our next stop is the Polynesian Cultural Center, where we see the amazing canoe parade and the spectacular Polynesian evening dinner show.

Day 4
This morning, we depart Honolulu Airport on the inter-island flight to the Big Island of Hawaii arriving midmorning into Hilo, county seat of the island of Hawaii. Today, we explore the slopes of Mauna Loa into the Hawaii Volcano National Park. Lunch is included before leaving the park and continuing to the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Farm and Big Island Candies. We overnight in Hilo.

Day 5
Before leaving Hilo, we visit the Tsunami Museum. Other visits include Waipio Valley Lookout, Waimea Town and a drive by Parker Ranch in beautiful Kamuela. Arrive in Kona for a 2-night stay.

Day 6
After breakfast, we visit a Kona Coffee Farm to learn how this world famous cup of coffee gets from the field to your cup. Then down into Kealakekua Bay at Honaunau, “The City of Refuge,” to visit a real Heiau and learn about the Kapu system. Return to the hotel for an afternoon and evening at your leisure.

Day 7
Depart Keahole Airport for our inter-island flight to Maui. This morning, we head to the top of the world aboard our luxury motor coach to climb the world’s largest volcano, Mt. Haleakala. Then through the Iao Valley, home of Iao Needle, lush tropical gardens, and a stone likeness of John F. Kennedy. Continue our drive back into the historical whaling town of Lahaina for a two-night stay.

Day 8
Today is a free day to enjoy the beach or take the trolley. Lahaina is rich with history, once having been the central location of the Hawaiian Government. Lahaina is home of the oldest school west of the Rockies, Lahainaluna. Founded in 1841, it was established by missionaries to teach the Hawaiian people to read. Tonight will be a special farewell evening at the Royal Lahaina Luau.

Days 9 and 10
This morning will be yours to relax. Take time to say “Aloha” before departing to the Kahului Airport for your return flight home. Day 10 – we return home.
