Grew up in Kentucky (passengers tell me I still have a southern accent!) making my home in Sikeston for many years. Retired librarian and teacher – continue to teach as adjunct for Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO and Three Rivers Community College, Poplar Bluff, MO. Enjoy reading, working in my flower gardens, spending time with my three children and three grandchildren, working with my church-teaching and missions and traveling with Presley (since 2001).

Hometown:
Sikeston, Missouri

Favorite destination:
Los Angeles and the Rose Parade

Most memorable travel moment:
On my first tour to New England, I saw THE OLD MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN in New Hampshire. Since I first read the Hawthorne story, I had a desire to actually see the rock face….and I did! It was a breath-taking moment, actually took my breath away! Unfortunately the rock face collapsed soon after that.
