About Us

Our Story

Wayman Presley started organizing group tours in 1956 as an idea to take people of Southern Illinois on excursions outside the Midwest. He wanted to offer an affordable way for local people to see our great country. Little did he know that what would start as a pastime, would quickly become a very successful tour company. Presley Tours, formed in 1960, continues today to be wholly owned and operated by the Presley family. In our 64 years in business, we have taken thousands of tour groups throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, as well as over 50 other countries around the world. Each year over 50 percent of our past customers return to take another tour and many of our new customers join us as a referral from a past customer.

Our Approach

Every tour is designed to provide our customers with great value. We select lodging that is conveniently located, modern, clean and reasonably priced. We include the majority of meals on each tour, again focusing on convenient, good quality food at reasonable prices. Where possible, we choose restaurants that reflect the local cuisine and atmosphere. Our motor coaches feature the latest touring designs to insure your comfort and best viewing. All coaches are air-conditioned and lavatory equipped. All sightseeing and admissions included in the advertised itinerary are prearranged and priced into the cost of your tour. We arrange the itineraries with free time for individual interests including independent meals. Of course, the tour director is always available to help you make your individual selections. We take care of all the details so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

Meet Our Guides

Presley Tours guides live to travel. They spend their time visiting the destinations we travel to, exploring the culture and sites of the areas and finding great out of the way spots. Our travelers continually rate our guides as one the best parts of traveling on our motor coach tours.
