Tournament of Roses Parade package

The 118th Tournament of Roses parade themed Our Good Nature will take place on Monday, January 1, 2007. It features spirited marching bands from throughout the nation, majestic floral floats and high-stepping equestrian units.

Presley Tours Tournament of Roses Parade package will also include a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the floats being decorated for the parade. The Tournament of Roses parade now features elaborate high-tech computerized animated floats. Although a few floats are still built exclusively by volunteers from their sponsoring communities, most are built by professional float building companies and take nearly a year to construct.

Presley Tours Tournament of Roses parade package also includes a city tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood and Beverly Hills, a fabulous New Years Eve dinner, the Getty Center and the Reagan Library Museum.

Another great attraction included in Presley Tours Tournament of Roses parade package is the Crystal Cathedral located in Garden Grove, California. A performance at the Crystal Cathedral is included. The Cathedral has more than 10,000 windows of tempered silver colored glass. In addition, two 90 foot tall doors open electronically behind the pulpit to allow the morning sunlight and warm breezes to enhance the worship services. The sanctuary seats 2890 persons and there is a drive-in facility adjacent to the Cathedral.

But, of course, the highlight of this Tournament of Roses parade package is Pasadena and its’ parade. It’s America’s New Year celebration, a greeting to the world on this first day of the year, and a salute to the community boldness and love of ritual and celebration that have thrived in Pasadena for more than a century.
