New York City Theater Weekend

Presley Tours provides the ultimate weekend getaway. New York City Theater weekend includes shopping, two Broadway shows and the excitement of the big city. Also included is a tour of the Big Apple with stops at the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Empire State Building

Fly to the Big Apple for a three-night stay and the beginning of a New York City Theater weekend. The first night’s Broadway show experience is the Phantom of the Opera. This is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s lyrical story of a disfigured maestro who haunts the Paris Opera House and is one of the longest running shows on Broadway.

A New York City theater weekend wouldn’t be complete without a locally guided tour of the city. The tour will end at Macy’s Department Store for lunch and shopping. A harbor cruise features breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge, United Nations, Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building. After an included dinner, watch the stars over the city from the observatory of the Empire State Building.

This New York City theater weekend also features a visit to the Statue of Liberty and the Museum of Immigration; then cross to Ellis Island. Our second Broadway show is Hairspray, which became an immediate success on Broadway when it premiered at the Neil Simon Theater in 2002. Hairspray is a splashy musical based on the 1988 John Waters film.

The New York City theater weekend wouldn’t be a total representation of the Big Apple without dining at The Tavern on the Green. Built in 1870, this rural Victorian Gothic structure was designed as a sheepfold. Through time it has become a glittering palace where celebrities flock to see and be seen.

Upon returning home, excitement remains when sharing experiences of our Presley Tours New York City theater weekend.
